Emmanuel with Us
Isaiah 7: 14.
Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall
conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
Matthew 1
21.
And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for
he shall save his people from
their sins.
He is the savoir of the world.
22.
Now all this was done, that it might be
fulfilled which was spoken of the
Lord by the prophet, saying,
23.
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and
they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is,
God with us.
Roman 1
1.
Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle,
separated unto the gospel of God,
2.
(Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)
3.
Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of
David according to the flesh;
4.
And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of
holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:
5.
By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the
faith among all nations, for his name:
6.
Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ:
7.
To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you
and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
8.
First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith
is spoken of throughout the whole world.
9.
For God is my witness, whom I
serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that
without ceasing I make mention of
you always in my prayers;
10.
Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous
journey by the will of God to come unto you.
Roman 5
1.
Therefore being justified by
faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2.
By whom also we have access by
faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of
God.
3.
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that
tribulation worketh patience;
4.
And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
5.
And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in
our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
6.
For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the
ungodly.
7.
For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a
good man some would even dare to die.
8.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet
sinners, Christ died for us.
9.
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from
wrath through him.
10.
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of
his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
11.
And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by
whom we have now received the atonement.
For those of you
saved and realize the Christ work of “Atonement” I would like to suggest a few
New Years solution for those of you making resolutions.
Instead of thinking
outwardly about stopping vices and breaking old habits can I suggest you work
inwardly to improve the outward?
1.
Eliminate un-forgiveness by forgiving
2. Eliminate hatred by
loving
3.
Eliminate guilt by releasing it and confession 4.
Eliminate vices by exercising self control
5. Find you secret place
with God 6.
Always expect the best
7. Live in the center of God will
8. Seek to serve
9. Enjoy Life
10.
Give freely
Matthew 6: 25
Therefore I say unto
you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink;
nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on.
{The basics of life
food and water, clothes and shelter}
Is not the life more
than meat, and the body than raiment?
26.
Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor
gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better
than they?
31.
Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we
drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32.
(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly
Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all
these things shall be added unto you.
34.
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take
thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Jesus is still
taking names today. He is making up
His list is checking it twice to find out whether or not you have “New Life.”
If you don’t have
“New Live” get it here and now by way of Roman 9.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt
believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be
saved. 10.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth
confession is made unto salvation. 11.
For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12. For there is no
difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich
unto all that call upon him. 13.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
